You don’t have to be in the same room as me for therapy to feel personal, meaningful and connected.
I offer online counselling and psychodynamic therapy by video, giving you the same space to talk, think and explore what is going on underneath the surface as you would in face-to-face counselling.
The most important part of therapy is the relationship we build together. Being online doesn’t change that. You will still have my full attention, the same warmth and openness, and the same opportunity to explore your thoughts, feelings, relationships and patterns at your own pace.
I work with clients all over the UK in this way so you don't have to be local to Leicestershire. In fact, it allows people to select a counsellor that is the right fit rather than just choosing someone that is geographically nearby. My fee is also considerably less than many therapists based in the south of the UK.
What are the benefits of online counselling?
For some people, online therapy simply fits more easily into everyday life. You can have your session from home or another private space, without travelling to an appointment. This can make therapy more accessible if you have a busy life, live further away, or simply feel more comfortable talking from your own surroundings.
Online counselling can also offer a sense of familiarity and privacy. You might find it easier to settle into the conversation in a space that feels comfortable to you.
But online therapy isn’t just about convenience.
Psychodynamic counselling works online too. We can still pay attention to what happens between us, the feelings that come up in the room, the things that are difficult to say, and the patterns that may be playing out in your relationships.
Whether we meet online or face to face, I will offer the same thoughtful, non-judgemental space where you can be yourself and begin to understand what may be keeping you stuck, overwhelmed or disconnected from yourself.
If you’re considering counselling but aren’t sure whether online therapy is right for you, we can talk about it during our initial conversation.
